Which CARPROOF Report is Right for Me?

When buying or selling a used car, CARPROOF reports are important in building trust between the buyer and seller, allowing the seller to establish themselves as an honest person and enabling the buyer to confidently purchase a vehicle without the fear of unfortunate surprises down the road. CARPROOF offers a variety of products that provide different levels of information at different prices, allowing you to choose which report is best suited to your unique situation.

If you’d still like to know more about each vehicle history report and what they offer, here’s a description of each of our reports:

CARPROOF Verified: CARPROOF Verified report is our most detailed vehicle history report. It includes accident history, registration information, a stolen vehicle check and other available records as well as a guaranteed Canadian lien search*. Not sure what this means? You’re not alone. Click here to learn more about what a lien is, and why it’s important to know if there is a lien registered against the car that you’re purchasing.

CARPROOF Claims: Do you already have a complete lien history on the vehicle you’re considering? If so, our CARPROOF Claims report might be the right choice for you. A CARPROOF Claims does not offer lien information, but does provide you with the car’s full accident or damage history, as well as registration and branding details from Canada and the U.S. This report will also tell you if the vehicle is marked as stolen along with other information and records.

Hopefully this has helped to clarify what each CARPROOF report has to offer! Still not sure which report is best for you?
